Thank you all for your messages and prayers. They all worked ^_^

Half an hour before my dad was supposed to have his op yesterday, they did an x-ray and scan, and they came back and said nature was knitting his ankle back together and it was doing a better job than they ever could O.O Best news is he's coming home today whoooo!

He's coming home with 2 zimmer frames (one for upstairs, one for downstairs) and a pair of crutches. He has to go to the fracture clinic next week where he'll be put into a special cast that he has to keep on for 3 months. After that he'll have to use crutches for 6 months.

I finally found what happened as well. It's quite funny actually (and I slept through this)

He and my mum were arguing over who would use the loo first since they both needed it. In the end he let my mum go first.

He looked into our garden and there was a cat sitting on our fence. My dad wanted to shoo it because we have bird bests in our garden, and they were feeding. He banged on the window but it didn't move so he went outside to shoo it, and fell off our step.

I asked him why he went outside to shoo the cat since he normally doesn't, and he said the cat was giving him attitude *rolls eyes*

The jokes have been pouring in since we've told everyone lol.

I got woken up this morning by my mum yelling that my dad had broken his leg and that we were waiting for an ambulence.

Naturally I ran downstairs, and he was in the garden, looking extremely annoyed and clutching his leg. We got blankets to cover him because it was freezing cold outside.

The ambulence finally showd up... 30 mins after my mum called them! To say I was extremely pissed is an understatement. My dad is 61 years old! You don't let a 61 yr old lie outside in the freezing cold with a suspected broken leg for half an hour! If he develops pnumonia or anything like that then I will make sure that the shit will hit the fan.

My mum just called and he's had a bad break. He's got a cast up to his knee and he'll be staying in overnight. I got hold of my brother thankfully and he's gone to see them. I'm at home keeping an eye on things and taking phone calls.

I wanted to post this in case I disappear offline for a while.

I'm really scared, I hope my dad will be ok

My PC is all fixed now (yay!) but work has been crazy! We've had some probs and now I'm working tons of extra hours atm.
